The defenders Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra left the club during the summer transfer period. The striker Robin van Persie hasn't played in all matches in the pre-season and he is doubtful in front of this match, so Javier Hernandez is expected to be in the starting eleven. The defender Jonny Evans, midfielder Antonio Valencia and striker Danny Welbeck are also doubtful due to injuries.
