England will have the opportunity to put old demons to rest when they face Italy in their Fifa U20 World Cup semi-final on Thursday.
Italy made it through to the semi-finals after a dramatic 3-2 win against Zambia in the last eight which saw the Azzurri equalise late on in normal time before Luca Vido netted an extra-time winner.
Meanwhile, England clung on against Mexico to win 1-0 following Dominic Solanke's goal just after half-time.
